CAP offers three in-class programs, H2O for Kids (Kindergarten through 3rd grade), Arizona Water Story (4th through 6th grades) and H2O4U (7th and 8th grade). The programs contain lesson plans, videos and are correlated to state education standards. Materials are available free for teachers upon request. For in-state college students CAP offers an opportunity for recognition through the Award for Research program. Each year, CAP selects two student researchers to receive a cash award and a sponsorship to the annual Arizona Hydrological Society Symposium, where they will present their papers. Research must be related to water issues facing Arizona or other Colorado River users. CAP also provides facility tours to a variety of guests throughout the year and speakers are available to address groups about water use in Arizona.

Stewarding Arizona's Environment Since 1969

Arizona Forward was founded as Valley Forward in 1969, one year before the first Earth Day. We expanded statewide in 2013.

We mobilize business leaders and policymakers to leverage their collective power to influence how we best grow our communities, stimulate our economy and enhance our environment.

Our diverse membership of large corporations and small businesses, along with municipal, county and state agencies, educational institutions, related nonprofits and concerned citizens help ensure: smart growth and development, efficient transportation, improved air quality, responsible water management, energy alternatives and meaningful education.
