JAMES W. ELMORE Legacy Society
Arizona Forward sincerely appreciates forward-thinking donors who make charitable gifts to our organization through their Will or estate plans. These planned or deferred gifts may include retirement assets, stock, insurance proceeds or real estate, and play a significant role in securing our continued success.
By including a charitable provision in your Will or trust, or by designating a future gift of insurance or retirement plan assets, you become a tangible partner in our mission to balance economic vitality with environmental sustainability. Arizona Forward’s Legacy Society was named in honor of the late James W. Elmore, a former Chair of the Board who was known as the “Father of Rio Salado”, our signature founding project. His unwavering commitment to our cause led to creation of the Tempe Town Lake and Phoenix Rio Salado Restoration Project.
If you have already provided for Arizona Forward in your will, trust, or by beneficiary designation on life insurance or retirement accounts, you are automatically a member of the James W. Elmore Legacy Society and we are delighted to welcome you. You are encouraged to inform us of your gift so that we may celebrate it during your lifetime. Click this link to download the James W. Elmore Legacy Society Member Information Form.
48 Years of Environmental Stewardship
Arizona Forward was founded as Valley Forward in 1969, one year before the first Earth Day. We expanded statewide in 2013.
We mobilize business leaders and policymakers to leverage their collective power to influence how we best grow our communities, stimulate our economy and enhance our environment.
Our diverse membership of large corporations and small businesses, along with municipal, county and state agencies, educational institutions, related nonprofits and concerned citizens help ensure: smart growth and development, efficient transportation, improved air quality, responsible water management, energy alternatives and meaningful education.
