EMERGING SUSTAINABILITY LEADERS PROGRAM
This program introduces young professionals to concepts of sustainability in real-world practice. Candidates must be nominated by established leaders in the Arizona community, and complete a formal selection process that begins every August.
Events throughout the year bring our members and other organizations together to network, learn, celebrate and discuss topics related to the well-being of Arizona. From social mixers, educational luncheons or breakfasts and annual events such as our Statewide Sustainability Summit and the Environmental Excellence Awards, our events deliver value.

50TH ANNIVERSARY OF EARTH DAY
As we celebrate Earth Day 50 this year, it is important to appreciate Arizona's environmental accomplishments, and renew our stake in what is a primary risk in our state today. Arizona is currently the fourth fastest warming state in the U.S., and Phoenix is the second fastest warming city in our country, making our state's natural resources vulnerable to climate change impacts.
Just as our predecessors united to make progress on the first Earth Day, let's use this milestone as our launching point to recognize the need for the next 50 years: climate action. We can build a better, stronger and cleaner Arizona by continuing to work together.
WHEN THE EARTH MOVES FILM
This short film reclaims the authentic story and original vision of Earth Day as a bipartisan and socially just environmental movement, and highlights the need for people across generations and both sides of the political aisle to play an active part. Thank you to Tia Nelson, the daughter of the founder of Earth Day, and the Outrider Foundation for this film.
